How to Build an Elementor FAQ Accordion That Helps

An FAQ in Elementor is often a leftover accordion of twelve questions nobody asked: “Do you work weekends?” sitting under a heading that says FAQ. Visitors who open it want a decision unblocked—price shape, timeline, what they must send. A long accordion that restates the services page is a second brochure.

This is how to build an Elementor FAQ accordion that stays short and findable. Put it on a services page after the offers, or on its own URL if the list is really a knowledge base. The offer structure is in how to structure an Elementor services page. Pair answers with one path to the contact page.

What belongs in the list

Write questions in the words a client would type. “How long does a typical site take?” beats “What is your process?” Three to six items cover most studio sites:

  1. What you need from them before you start
  2. How long a usual project takes
  3. How you price (package, hourly, or quote)
  4. Whether you work remotely / in their stack (Elementor, WooCommerce)
  5. What happens after launch (edits, updates, support)

Skip “What CMS do you use?” if every page already says WordPress and Elementor. Skip “Are you passionate?” That is an about page line, not a FAQ.

Build it so it stays editable

Use the theme’s accordion or FAQ widget once. One item = one real question. Nested toggles and hover-only answers fail on a phone—see mobile design mistakes. Clients should be able to change an answer without opening a nested container; that is the same rule as a site easy for clients to edit.

Pull heading and body styles from global styles so the accordion matches the rest of the page. On Brandberry, Deep, or Pine, start from a demo FAQ section and delete unused items the same day you paste real answers. Do not leave demo questions about “lorem delivery times.”

When it should be its own page

If you need more than about eight answers, or they are long (shipping, licensing, retainers), give FAQ its own URL and keep three on the services page. Schema/FAQ markup is a separate job; get the copy honest first. The last block on the page is still one button to contact, not a second accordion.

Need the accordion built on a TreeThemes product? Send the questions or pick a customization pack on the services page.
